The authors insights in her article "10 Ways to Show Christ" were very practical. Good reminders that as Christ followers we are to model who He is in our daily lives. I appreciated her comment to take time to counsel and not just dole out punishment. It doesn't have to be a long speech - just a sentence or two. Many students have never been spoken to like this. Love and kindness are so important as so many have not experienced them in their homes and it impacts them when they see it in action. Her comments have encouraged me in my position in the public school system.
